![]() ![]() Windowed mode + Vsync + 365.19 drivers have given me a steady smooth 60 fps (on high preset) in campaign map fps zoomed out and 30-45 fps zoomed in on battles as large as 2v2 (20 unit card armies) do note some camera positions have tanked my fps to the teens due to the curse of total wars engine limits on core use as we all know. *yes windowed does technically have slower performance if only marginally than its full screen counter part, however I've witnessed not real world fps drop.Īlso to nvidia users revert drivers to 365.19 (the one just before the May 23rd over watch drivers) as these provide the best TW:W performance! Of course until nvidia releases game ready drivers for total war. Now if stuttering still exists in windowed, turn on Vsync as for whatever reason it doesn't cause the above flickering while in windowed. Solution: windowed mode (run in a window check box) most total war games have stuttering at least in the campaign map Solution: disable Vsync until it is patched If i turn on TAA or TAA high, the game looks blurry, if i zoom out, the models dont load in properly and look like blobs, also the grass is flickering. ![]() At first it made me think my graphics card is at fault, but after redownloading wh2 I can see that it looks ten times better than wh3. it's known by CA that it is a bug with nvidia cards/drivers and TW:W Vsync option. I do not know why but anti-aliasing looks awful on my pc. I've found a temporary fix that I discovered in other games long past. ![]()
